Usnea Tincture
Usnea Tincture
Usnea tincture:
Antibacterial, antifungal, antimicrobial, vulnerary (wound-healing)- a wonderful ally for the respiratory system and infection fighter for the whole body. Usnea has also been referred to as "lungs of the forest" - an almost direct translation from it's Latin name- It's also called "old man's beard" - for it can be found looking very much like a magical wizard's beard hanging off a tree. Usnea is a lichen that is slow growing and really should not be harvested from living trees. It is best to collect what you can find on branches blown down after a storm or good wind. The Usnea used to make this tincture was collected from just one big pile of branches that I found off-path in the Cherokee forest.
You can take this tincture to help with a WIDE variety of things like sinus infections, pneumonia, wet coughs, urinary infections, kidney issues, oral inflammation, fungal infections ..the list goes on.
Sold in 1oz dropper bottles.
Ingredients: wildcrafted usnea, vodka.
